How to play
- Drag anywhere to steer your snake. You eat only dots of your own color; other colors slide under you.
- Only snakes of your color are solid to you. Touch one and you pop; snakes of other colors pass right through.
- Fly through a gate to change color: switch to a big snake's color to cut it off, or to any other color to escape.
- Hold a second finger or the bolt button to boost. It costs mass, which drops behind you as dots.
- Reach the goal in each mission, then take on the Arena and the Daily Arena for your best peak mass.
Controls
- Phone or tablet: Touch and drag anywhere to steer. Hold a second finger anywhere, or the bolt button, to boost.
- Mouse: Move the mouse and your snake turns toward it. Hold the button to boost.
- Keyboard: ← → ↑ ↓ or W A S D steer, Space boosts, Esc pauses.
- Gamepad: D-pad steers, A boosts, Start pauses.
Tips
- Only your own color is solid to you, so a snake of another color is a free bridge: cross it and keep eating.
- A gate shows how many nearby snakes would turn solid if you switched to its color. Check it before you dive in.
- To cut a snake off, take its color at a gate, then cross just ahead of its head and let it run into your body.
- Boost costs mass, so save it for a cut-off or an escape and not for the dots.
About this game
Color Snake Arena is a glowing snake game with one big twist: you only touch your own color. Steer a snake of light around a neon arena and eat the dots that match your color. Dots of other colors stay on the floor, dim and out of reach. Snakes work the same way. Only snakes of your color are solid to you. Every snake of another color slides right under you like light, and you slide under them.

That makes the colored gates around the arena your attack and your escape. Dive through an orange gate and your stripes flash orange: now a huge orange snake is solid and glowing hot, and you can boost across its path, curve away and watch it burst into a river of big orange dots that only orange snakes can eat. Or a big snake of your color comes straight at you: slip through a green gate and its head slides harmlessly under your new zigzags.
Three colors, three patterns and three shapes: sky blue dots and discs, orange stripes and diamonds, green zigzags and triangles, so color is never the only clue. Five missions teach one idea at a time with a ghost hand, fifteen more follow, then comes the endless Arena against nine bots and a Daily Arena with a new rule every day, the same for everyone. Your best peak mass goes on the board.
Collect sparkle trails and faces in the Neon Wardrobe: they unlock as your mass grows and are never for sale.
