How to play
- Drag a piece from the tray into a numbered slot, or tap the piece and then the slot. Tap a placed piece to take it back.
- Press GO. Hold to make the car go, let go to brake.
- Let go before a curve: too fast and the car flies off. Loops and ramps need speed.
- The colored bar along the track shows where full power would throw you off.
- Finish for bronze, be quicker for silver and gold. Kids Mode (tap the turtle) slows for corners by itself.
Controls
- Phone or tablet: Drag or tap pieces into the slots, tap GO, then press and hold anywhere to go and let go to brake.
- Keyboard: Space or β (also W, β, D) hold to go, let go to brake. Drag pieces with the mouse. Esc pauses.
- Mouse: Drag pieces into the slots, click GO, hold the left button to go and let go to brake.
- Gamepad: Hold A or RT to go, let go to brake. Start pauses.
Tips
- Look at the colored bar before you press GO: red parts throw you off at full power, so let go before them.
- A booster before a climb or a loop gives you the speed for it, but right before a tight curve it is too much.
- A banked corner lets you take a wide bend much faster. Put it on the longest, widest curve.
- Beat the gold time and you can race the builder's ghost to see exactly when to hold and when to let go.
About this game
Track Piece Racer is a toy-car racing puzzle. A bright orange track floats through a kitchen, a bathroom and more, and every track has an empty slot or two. You get a little tray of pieces: a booster, a ramp, a banked corner, a spring. Snap them in where you think they belong, press GO and race.

There is no steering. The car stays on the track by itself: hold to run the motor, let go to brake. Take a curve too fast and the little car spins off onto the table and pops back at the last flag. Reach a loop too slowly and it drops off the top. So where you put a piece matters: a booster before a climb saves seconds, a banked corner lets you sweep through a bend that would throw you off, but a booster right before a hairpin sends you flying. A colored bar along the track shows the trouble before you race: green is fine, orange take care, red will throw you off.
Finish for bronze, be quick for silver, and beat the builder's gold time for gold. A ghost car shows your best run. Every gold puts a piece of track on the toy box shelf, every six golds unlock a new toy car, and the coins you win buy new paint for it in the paint shop. Kids Mode (tap the turtle) makes the car slow for corners by itself and never shows a fail screen.
36 hand-tuned tracks in six rooms, a new Daily Track every day, and a Workshop where you snap your own track together, press Test to see if it can be driven, and save up to 20 of them. Pass the phone: up to four drivers keep their own medals and ghosts. Free in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer.
