Shrink down and race! Tiny toy cars zoom round a giant kitchen table, past cereal bowls, milk cartons and bananas as big as buses.

Hold the brake in a turn to drift, let go for a whoosh of boost, and drive through gift boxes for rockets, bubble shields and coin magnets. Seven tracks take you from the breakfast table to the playroom rug, over a ruler bridge on the homework desk, through slippery soap at bath time, off a breadstick jump at the garden picnic and round the big cake at a birthday party.

Finish in the top three to climb the podium and open the next track, then spend your coins on five toy cars and eight paint colours. Kids Mode (tap the turtle) drives the car for younger racers, so they only have to steer, and every race they finish opens the next track.

Toy Car Rally runs in your browser on phones, tablets and computers, held upright or sideways, with touch, keyboard or a gamepad. No download, no sign-up.

Controls

  • Phone or tablet: Slide the wheel to steer. Hold GO to drive and STOP to brake; keep holding STOP to back up. Hold STOP in a turn to drift, and let go for a boost. In Kids Mode the car drives itself: touch the left or right side of the screen to steer.
  • Keyboard: W or ↑ to drive, S or ↓ to brake and back up, A and D or ← → to steer. Hold Space or Shift in a turn to drift, and let go for a boost. Esc or P pauses.
  • Mouse: Hold the button down on the road to drive, and slide left or right to steer.
  • Gamepad: RT to drive, LT to brake, left stick or d-pad to steer. Hold A or RB in a turn to drift. Start pauses.

How to play

Steer round the track and finish in the top three to climb the podium and open the next track. Hold the brake in a turn to drift: the longer you slide, the bigger the boost when you let go. Drive through gift boxes for rockets, bubble shields and coin magnets, and over the orange arrows for a boost. Sticky jam slows you down and soap is slippery. In Kids Mode (tap the turtle) the car drives by itself, and you just steer.
