How to play

  • Drag anywhere: the lead goat walks toward your finger. Let go and the herd grazes.
  • Find golden clover to add goats: a bigger herd cuts a wider stripe.
  • Toys and a bell hide in the long grass and pop out when a goat touches them.
  • Cut without pausing to build a conga that widens the cut and adds bonus points.
  • Cut the yard, or tap the barn at 80%, and the herd trots home. Kids Mode (tap the turtle) has no clock.

Controls

  • Phone or tablet: Drag a finger anywhere on the screen, the goat walks toward it. Tap the barn after 80% to finish.
  • Keyboard: ← → ↑ ↓ or W A S D to walk, Space to finish at the barn after 80%, Esc to pause.
  • Mouse: Hold the button and drag. Click the barn after 80% to finish.
  • Gamepad: Left stick or d-pad to walk, A to finish at the barn.

Tips

  • A glowing gold beam marks clover you can see. A faint glitter in the long grass is clover you cannot.
  • Walking over grass you already cut ends your conga, so mow long lines right beside the last stripe.
  • Once the ring at the top turns into a little barn, tap the barn (or press Space) to finish early.
  • From yard 6 a big golden clover gives five goats at once, enough to help reach a golden herd.

About this game

Lead a hungry herd of goats and mow the overgrown yard!

You start with one little goat at the gate of a yard where the grass is taller than the fence posts. Drag one finger and the goat trots after it, munching a clean stripe through the long grass. Lift your finger and it stops to graze. That is all the controls there are.

Then look for the golden clover. Every clover patch makes new goats spring out of the grass and fall in behind your leader, and every goat chomps its own stripe. One goat cuts a thin path. Four goats cut a wide one. A big herd mows a whole lane at once.

The yard hides surprises. A rubber duck squeaks up out of the grass, then a robot, a kite, a toy boat, and a brass bell that makes the whole herd hop. Keep cutting without a pause to build a conga: every few seconds the herd bounces in one wave, the cut gets wider, and the new stripes shine brighter. Reach fifteen goats and the herd turns gold!

Bushes, rocks, hay bales and fences get in the way, so plan your route. Cut the yard and the herd trots home into the barn. There are 30 yards: the first five are short lessons with a little hand that shows the way, and every fifth one is a big field with a picture to reveal in the stripes. Every toy, bell and golden herd goes into your Toy box to keep. Earn stars and spend play coins on bigger bites, quicker hooves or a goat to start with.

If the clock feels hectic, switch on Kids Mode (tap the turtle): the timer disappears and nothing can be lost.

Play with a finger on a phone or tablet, the mouse, the arrow keys or WASD, or a gamepad. Free in your browser, with nothing to install.
