How to play

  • Tap a duckling and it waddles straight ahead until it leaves the pond and joins Mama Duck.
  • Signposts turn a duckling the way their arrow points, so paths bend around corners.
  • Blue spinny signs turn a quarter clockwise after each duckling leaves over them.
  • A duckling in the way makes a bump: both blush and it waddles back. Send the blocker home first!
  • Bring every duckling home. Bumps cost stars, never lives. Kids Mode (tap the turtle): bumps are not counted.

Controls

  • Phone or tablet: Tap a duckling to send it. Press and hold to preview its footprints, slide away to cancel.
  • Keyboard: ← → ↑ ↓ pick a duckling, Space or Enter sends it. Z undoes, H shows a hint. Esc pauses.
  • Mouse: Click a duckling to send it. Press and hold to preview its footprints, move away to cancel.
  • Gamepad: d-pad picks a duckling, A sends it, B undoes, Y shows a hint. Start pauses.

Tips

  • Press and hold a duckling first: its footprints show the whole bent path before you let go.
  • A bump is only a blush. If one duckling blocks another, send the one in the way home first.
  • A signpost sends a duckling the way its arrow points. An arrow pointing straight back at it is a bump.
  • Blue spinny signs show a small badge with the way they will point next, and Undo turns them back.

About this game

Little ducklings are scattered across a sunny pond, each one facing a way, and Mama Duck is waiting on the bank. Tap a duckling and it waddles straight ahead until it hops off the pond and lines up behind Mama with a happy quack. The puzzle is the order: a duckling in the way makes yours blush and bounce back, so who goes first?

Here is the twist. Wooden signposts on the pond turn a duckling a quarter turn, so paths bend around corners and you have to read the whole bent route, not just a straight line. Blue spinny signs add a second layer: each one turns a quarter clockwise after every duckling that leaves over it, so the order you choose changes where the next duckling goes.

Nothing is ever lost. A bump is just a blush: the duckling waddles back to its own spot and the pond stays exactly as it was. Press and hold any duckling to see its footprints before you send it, and a hint hand helps whenever you are stuck. Undo brings the last duckling back and turns the signs back with it.

Every duckling you bring home earns a place in your Duck Pond, and every five ponds your ducklings get a new outfit to wear: a rain hat, a scarf, a bow, sunglasses, a crown and a flower crown. Ponds grow from two ducklings to big ones with dozens, and every ten ponds the scenery changes. Kids Mode (tap the turtle) is made for younger players: bumps are not counted, every pond can be finished, the footprint preview always shows where a duckling will end up and a hint appears after a short pause.
