How to play
- Drag anywhere to fly. The ship moves as your finger moves, and the guns fire alone.
- A hit unfolds one fold. At zero folds you are a flat sheet: one more hit and you are crumpled.
- Burst with a second finger, a double-tap, Space or a right click: spend one fold to turn nearby bullets into star shards.
- Fly through the shards to fold back up. Shoot gold elites and mini-bosses for special weapons.
- Every sector ends with a boss. Shoot off its parts to silence their guns.
Controls
- Phone or tablet: Drag a finger anywhere to fly. Tap with a second finger, double-tap or tap the BURST button to burst. Flick sideways to roll the Ray.
- Keyboard: ←↑↓→ or WASD to fly, Space to burst, Shift to roll.
- Mouse: Hold the left button and drag. Right click to burst.
- Gamepad: D-pad to fly, A to burst, B to roll.
Tips
- Burst when the bullets are close: the blast is small, and every bullet inside it becomes a shard for your next fold.
- Shoot a boss's arms and turrets first. Each part you break stops its fire and makes the core easier to hit.
- A crisp ship on all four folds scores x1.5 for every kill, so burst when it pays and refold fast.
- Keep the kills coming for a combo up to x2. A hit or a quiet second and a half ends it.
About this game
Star Fold Ace is a free vertical space shooter where your starship is a sheet of folded foil. Drag a finger anywhere and the ship follows. The guns fire by themselves, so your hands are free to dodge and burst.

The twist is the burst. Every fold of your ship is a hit point and a weapon, and you can spend one on purpose: tap with a second finger (or press Space) and the ship unfolds in a blast that turns every bullet near you into a gold star shard. Fly through the shards and the ship folds back up.
Fly through six sectors, each with its own new foe: shielded haulers, drill worms, splitters, flickering ghost ships, charging lancers, snipers, tethered drone pairs and repair bots. Gold elites and a mini-boss in every sector drop special weapons for nine seconds: Lightning Chain, Plasma Lance, Swarm Missiles, Nova Orbs, Rail Spike and Prism Spread. Each sector ends with a boss and its signature attack: shoot off its parts one by one and each stops firing. Chain kills for a combo up to x2 and pick a mod after every stage.
Six starfighters wait in the hangar, each with one trait: the all-round Falcon, the big-burst Manta, the rapid- fire Comet, the long-rolling Stingray, the seeking Phoenix and the Royal Kite with three wingmen. Win them by playing. Then try Deep Space, an endless climb, or the Daily Sector: the same run for everyone, every day, on the leaderboard.
Star Fold Ace plays in your browser on phones, tablets and computers. There is nothing to download, no sign-up and no chat. The enemies are clockwork toy ships that burst into bolts: no pilots, no blood.
