How to play
- Drive into the ball to push it into the orange goal. Defend your blue goal.
- After every goal the ball changes. The scoreboard shows the NEXT ball, so plan for it.
- Each ball plays differently: the beach ball floats, the bowling ball is heavy, the puck slides forever.
- Hold Boost to go faster. The dots in front of the ball show where a hit would send it; gold means a goal.
- Win a match to open the next one. A draw at full time goes to golden goal.
- Two players: pick 2 Players on the title screen. Each player steers from one end of the screen.
Controls
- Phone or tablet: Drag the wheel to steer, hold GO to drive and STOP to brake and back up, hold 🔥 to boost.
- Keyboard: ← → or A D to steer, ↑ W to drive, ↓ S to brake, Space to boost, C ball cam, Esc to pause.
- Two players: player 1 A D steer, S back up, W boost; player 2 ← → steer, ↓ back up, ↑ boost.
- Mouse: Point where you want to go, hold the left button to drive and the right button to brake.
- Gamepad: Left stick to steer, RT to drive, LT to brake, A to boost, Y for the ball cam.
Tips
- Check the NEXT ball before you shoot: scoring now brings that ball in for the kick-off.
- The bowling ball barely moves when you hit it, but once it rolls it will not stop. Line it up and give it time.
- Hit the beach ball low and fast: it floats high, so a soft touch lets the other team get under it.
- Gold dots in front of the ball mean your hit is heading into the goal. Hold your line and boost.
About this game
Car soccer with a twist you can see coming. Drive a sleek toy sports car with a critter at the wheel, push a giant ball into the goal, and beat the bots in 1v1 and 2v2 matches, or play a friend on the same device. But in Oddball Car Soccer the ball never stays the same: after every goal it turns into a different one.

There are six balls, and each one plays its own way. The classic football rolls and bounces like you expect. The beach ball is big and floaty and hangs in the air. The bowling ball is so heavy your car bounces off it, and once it rolls it does not stop. The wobbly cube knocks itself off line every time it lands. The super ball flies off the walls, and the ice puck slides along the floor forever. The scoreboard always shows the NEXT ball, so you know what the next goal will bring and can plan for it: score now, or hold on until the bowling ball comes in?
A row of glowing dots in front of the ball shows where a hit would send it, worked out with that ball's own physics. When the dots turn gold, it is going in.
Five training matches teach one idea at a time: the ball swap, boost, the wobbly cube and your teammate. Then play through the Bronze, Silver and Gold leagues against faster and smarter rivals, from sunny afternoons to night games under the floodlights. Draws at full time go to golden goal. Every goal fills your Ball Rack with medals for each ball, and your best match scores add up to a season score on the leaderboard.
Two players can share one phone, tablet or keyboard: one plays from each end of the screen with the whole stadium in view. Turn on the ball cam to keep the ball in sight while you drive.
