Puzzle

Puzzle Ages 5 and up Kids Mode for 5-8 More Puzzle games For little ones

How to play

  • Drag a stack from the tray onto an empty hex in the garden bed.
  • Neighbors with the same top color slide into the stack you drop.
  • When a color reaches the number shown, like 5/5, the pile pops.
  • A pop next to a bud of that color makes it bloom. Bloom every bud to win.
  • Kids Mode (tap the turtle) means shorter piles, an earlier ghost hand and no game over.

Controls

  • Phone or tablet: Drag a stack onto a cell, or tap a stack and then tap a cell.
  • Keyboard: ← β†’ pick a stack, Space or Enter lift and drop, arrows move the cell, Z undo, H hint, Esc pause.
  • Mouse: Drag a stack onto a cell, or click a stack and then a cell.
  • Gamepad: D-pad to move, A to lift and drop, B undo, Y hint, Start to pause.

Tips

  • Look at the sign next to a bud: its color and pattern tell you which tiles it wants.
  • Hold a stack over a cell first. Arrows and a count like 5/5 show what the drop will do.
  • Only the top color of a stack moves, so a two-color stack gives up its second color next.
  • Drop a stack between two matching piles to pull both of them in at once.

Hex Garden is a calm puzzle about tiles and flowers. You get stacks of jelly hex tiles in a tray. Drag one onto the garden bed. Any neighboring stack with the same top color slides into the stack you just dropped, tile by tile, with a rising click. When a color reaches the number on the counter, the whole pile pops into petals.

Each bud in the bed wears a little sign that shows the color it wants and its pattern: pink dots, sunny stripes, sky rings. A pop of that color next to the bud sends petals flying into it, and it blooms into a tulip, a sunflower, a bluebell, a lily and more. A pop of any other color makes the bud shake its head. Bloom every bud to win the garden.

Hold a stack over a cell and the game shows what will happen before you let go: arrows for the stacks that will slide, a count like 5/5, and a bounce for the bud that will bloom. The first levels teach one idea at a time with a ghost hand and a picture card.

Every flower you grow stays in My Garden, a meadow that fills up as you play, with bees and butterflies that visit. A new flower and a new color arrive every few levels, and every tenth garden is a glowing night garden. There are 120 short levels.

Kids Mode (tap the turtle) makes piles shorter to clear, shows the ghost hand sooner and never ends your garden early. A gentle breeze clears space instead. Play on a phone, tablet or computer, free in your browser.
