How to play

  • The wrecking ball swings by itself. Tap anywhere (or press Space) to drop it into the towers.
  • When you tap is everything: at the bottom it hits hard and low, near the end it drops softly.
  • Watch the dotted line: it shows where the ball goes right now and the star marks where it first hits.
  • Knock every gold star block off the concrete into the yard before your swings run out.
  • Every block you knock down rides the truck to My Town and becomes a house. Bigger crash, bigger house!
  • Kids Mode (tap the turtle): spare swings, helped taps and no fail screen.

Controls

  • Phone or tablet: Tap anywhere to drop the ball. Tap the snail or the big ball button for a booster.
  • Keyboard: Space or Enter drops the ball, W slows the swing, B picks the big ball. Esc pauses.
  • Mouse: Click anywhere to drop the ball.
  • Gamepad: A drops the ball, X slows the swing, Y picks the big ball. Start pauses.

Tips

  • The ball is fastest at the bottom of its swing: tap there when a stone block is in the way.
  • Wait for the dotted line's star to sit on the tower you want before you tap.
  • A swing comes back: hit one tower on the way out and the other on the way back.
  • A bigger crash fills the truck: more blocks make a bigger house in My Town.

About this game

A toy crane stands over a fenced demolition yard, and its big wrecking ball is already swinging back and forth all by itself. You do not aim and you do not pull anything back: you choose when. Tap, and the crane lets out its chain. The ball drops into the towers below, keeping the speed and direction it had at that moment. Tap at the bottom of the swing and it slams in hard; tap near the end and it drops softly from above. The swing comes back, too, so one tap can hit two towers.

Every level hides gold star blocks in towers of wood, foam, stone and rubber. Knock every star block off the concrete into the yard before your swings run out. A dotted line always shows where the ball would go if you tapped right now, so you can watch the timing and learn the swing by yourself.

Here is the twist: nothing you knock down is wasted. A little dump truck scoops up every block that lands in the yard, and when you clear the level it drives them to My Town, where those exact blocks, in the same colors and materials, stack into a new building. A small crash makes a hut; a huge crash makes a tower house with a flag. So you choose: fewer swings for more stars, or a bigger crash for a bigger house. Every five levels a landmark opens and new townsfolk move in, so every player's town looks different.

There are 80 levels, each one checked to be fair and winnable. Younger players can turn on Kids Mode (tap the turtle): the crane driver hands out spare swings, a tap close to the right moment is helped into it, and there is never a fail screen.
