Snowball Roll

Roll a tiny snowball down the hill and build a snowman taller than the house!

Your snowball starts smaller than a cat at the top of a snowy village hill, just as the sun sets gold over the mountains. Drag to steer it through the fluffy fresh snow and watch it grow: bigger than a dog, bigger than a kid, bigger than a car, bigger than an elephant. Anything smaller than your snowball rolls right up into it and sticks, spinning round as you go: mittens, carrots, lost top hats, presents, sledges, fence posts and, once you're big enough, whole hay bales and boulders. Things that are still too big give you a soft bonk and knock a little snow off, so steer round them until you've grown. Keep away from the puddles, the bare grass and the warm springs, which melt your snow away.

At the bottom of the hill your snowball rolls into the village square and becomes a snowman: the head and the hat pop on, it waves, and a golden line measures it against the lamp post, the houses, the big fir and the church tower. Taller than the house? Three stars and snowflake confetti.

Twenty-four hills get longer and snowier, from the little hill to the pine hill and the big hill, where the best snowmen tower over the church. Earn coins for your stars and dress your snowman in a bobble hat, a bucket, earmuffs, a crown or reindeer antlers. Try again as often as you like to beat your best height.
