How to play
- Tap the die to roll. A 6 brings a critter out of its yard and rolls again. Kids Mode (tap the turtle): a 1 or a 6 works.
- Tap a critter to hop it that many cells. Press and hold first to see its path.
- Land on a rival and it climbs on your back. The bottom critter carries the whole stack.
- Riders hop off at their own door mat. Land on your own critter and the twins ride together.
- Bring every critter home to the treehouse. Nobody is ever sent back.
Controls
- Phone or tablet: Tap the die, then tap a critter. Press and hold a critter to preview its path, slide away to cancel.
- Keyboard: Space rolls and moves, 1 to 4 pick a critter, Tab cycles, Enter moves, H gives a hint, Esc pauses.
- Mouse: Click the die and a critter. Hover or press a critter to preview its path.
- Gamepad: A rolls and moves, the d-pad picks a critter, Y gives a hint. Start pauses.
Tips
- Press and hold a critter first: footprints show its path and a badge shows who will climb on.
- Landing on a rival, rolling a 6 and taking a critter home all roll again. Chain them for one big turn!
- Land on a tall stack: your critter slides underneath and carries the whole tower on your next roll.
- Nobody climbs on a door mat. A stack that stops on one unpacks, and every rider stands alone.
About this game
Piggyback Ludo is the classic dice race with one big change: nobody is ever sent home. Roll the die, hop your critters around the cross-shaped board and bring them to the treehouse in the middle. When you land on a rival critter it does not go back to its yard. It climbs onto your back and rides piggyback, and you roll again!

The critter on the bottom carries the whole stack, so one roll moves everybody in the tower. Riders can hop off whenever their own family takes a turn, and every rider waves goodbye at its own door mat on the way. Land on your own critters and the twins ride together, and with the exact roll they can both hop into the treehouse in one move.
Five short lessons teach everything with a ghost hand that points at the die and at the critter to move. Press and hold a critter to see its footprints before you move it: a badge shows who will climb aboard and where riders will hop off. Then play 25 more boards that grow from a small 9 by 9 board against sleepy critters to the classic 15 by 15 board against sharp ones.
Every ride earns a photo for your Ride Album, and every three photos give your family a new costume. Free play lets you pick who sits where: you, a friend passing the device, or a critter of any level. Matches wait for you: no timers, no rush, and Continue picks up a match where you left it.
