How to play
- Move with the left thumb (WASD on a keyboard). Tap the right side to fire straight at the nearest enemy, or drag it to aim.
- A bolt that bounces off a wall before it hits does double damage. Drag (or point the mouse) at a wall: a gold line means x2.
- You carry only 3 bolts. They slow down and drop: walk over them, or press recall to call every bolt home at once.
- Recalled bolts fly home through enemies and hit them on the way. Boulder bots block hits from the front: bank into their back.
- Clear a level, then pick 1 of 3 upgrade cards. The right two cards fuse into something stronger.
Controls
- Phone or tablet: Left thumb moves. Tap the right side to fire at the nearest enemy in the clear, drag it to aim a bank shot. The round β© button recalls every bolt. Hold the phone either way.
- Keyboard: W A S D or the arrow keys move, Space recalls, 1 2 3 pick a card, Esc pauses.
- Mouse: Point to aim, click to fire, right click to recall.
- Gamepad: Left stick moves, right stick aims, right bumper or trigger fires, left bumper or trigger recalls, A picks a card.
Tips
- A bolt that touches a wall before it hits does double damage. Aim at the wall and wait for the gold line.
- Recall when your bolts lie behind a crowd: they fly home through every enemy in the way.
- Boulder bots block everything from the front. Bank a bolt off a side wall into their back.
- Turret orbs can be shot down. Keep moving and never let all three bolts lie far away at once.
About this game
Bank Shot Arena is a twin-stick arena shooter where your ammo is not endless. You carry three glowing bolts, and that is it. Fire one and it ricochets around the room until it slows down and drops. Then you have to walk over to grab it, or hit recall and call every bolt home at once.

Every wall is your friend. A bolt that hits an enemy straight on does one hit. A bolt that bounces off a wall first does double. On a phone, a tap fires straight at the nearest enemy and a drag aims: the line shows the whole path and turns gold when a bank shot will land, so you can curl ricochets around pillars and hit things from behind.
You need that, because the arena fills up fast. Green slimes wobble toward you, zappy sparks zigzag in quick bursts, boulder bots carry a shield on the front that blocks every direct hit (bank one into their back instead), and hover turrets keep their distance and lob glowing orbs you must dodge or shoot down. Recall is your best trick: bolts flying home hit everything in their path.
Clear a level and pick 1 of 3 upgrade cards: an extra bolt, more bounces, a bolt magnet, faster recall, split bolts, sticky stuns, heavy bolts and more hearts. Combine two cards into a fusion like Web or Pinball. Five short lesson levels teach the whole game, then the levels keep going, faster and more crowded, until you are out of hearts. The Daily Arena gives everyone the same room, enemies and card offers each day, and every daily stamp and level cleared unlocks a new bolt color in the Bolt Locker. Up to four players can keep their own best runs on one device.
